It's back to school..

So, the second half of the school terms officially begins today. The kiddos had no problem waking up coz 1. Ethan missed his friends terribly and can't wait to see and tell them all about what he did during the school hols AND 2. Chloe couldn't wait to sink her teeth into POST's Banana Nut Crunch breakfast cereal as she picked it out herself last evening at the supermarket!!

Uncle Chan, the school bus driver was earlier than usual this morning too! (maybe he had something new for brekkie?) Anyways, as the kids and me hurried down, the following convee was exchanged between the two siblings :

E : Mei, wanna hear a joke?
C : Okay.
E : What did this wall say to the other wall?
C : Hmmmmm.....I dunno and I give up.....
E : C'mon Mei, just try....
C : I dun wanna think early in the morning so I give up (this sounded suspiciously familiar!)
E : Okay, I repeat. You know what this wall said to the other wall?
C : WWWhhhhhat???!!!
E : I'LL MEET YOU AT THE CORNER!!!

desperately seeking samantha

All that talk about Sex And The City (the movie) was driving me crazy the last couple of days. Colleagues were talking about it during brekkie at the office pantry, convees of people in the train (don't mean to eavesdrop but the early morning peak see people standing body to body and there was no way anyone's convee could escape my ears!)

The tai-tai girlfriends can't quite do movies weekday nights and weekends, only on weekday morns or afternoons when poor me is working hard for the money. The hubs refused to accompany me on what he calls a girly-girl movie and does not want to be caught in a situation if I asked him to make a comparison between Louboutins or Blahniks post movie. And the friendly neighbour says she does not do chick flicks. Period.

Gosh.. I am so desperately in need of a kaki to share my tub of popcorns with.
