Weekend Lusts

On this hot evening, I am catching up on some Hollywood Gossip reading mags whilst sipping chamomile tea. Digress. Aren't chamomile tea THE BEST just before calling it a night?

If only I looked as glamourous as Padma Lakshmi in her gorgeous brick orange maxi! Yes, if you don't already know me by know, I am a sucker for Maxi dresses. Have been for the longest time! Don't you just love the vintage semi gothic-y chandeliers? And ohh, the random sprig of flowers too? What about her oh-lets-just-pull-it-into-a-loose-chignon beautiful shiny and healthy black locks! Don't get me started on her neverending legs and washboard abs...its just not fair. How does she maintain her figure with all that sinful mouth-watering recipes found from her pretty cookbooks (which I love)?

I'm convinced that if I put in a word or two to the BIG MAN, this will all come to me one day.

Dear GOD, can you kindly throw in those gorgeous silky sheets and that exotic tan? What the heck, that to-die-for cleavage (which I sadly lost) won't hurt either. Thanks!

Yes yes, I admit. (Ohhh, c'mon, can't you tell?) I am lusting for my man, who is due to catch a flight back home from Frankfurt in 24 hours time. 24 hours can't come sooner, can it?

Happy Birthday Mummy!

This year, we decided on a brunch affair for mummy's birthday.

And so we headed to Conrad Hotel to the ever so lovely Oscar's to celebrate. It was a awesome time spent with my loved ones. The food was good and the company was greater.
Lots of laughter and noise. The kiddos enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Because they were given a table all to themselves, right next to ours, it was as though they were out on their own and having high tea! So cute right?

I LOVE you mommy. For always being there for my family and me, for sacrificing so much for us till today, for the unconditional love that you've showed us, even though we are married and have families of our own, you've not once stopped caring or worrying for us. No words can ever describe how you are to me. As how Scottie would always say, "I LOVE YOU INFINITY!"

Happy Birthday, Mum.

Goli Game

The inside of the car was literally stripped to the core!
Bare bodied machine!
Hubba with THE CULPRIT!!

For weeks on end, hubba got really agitated each time he started the car. To him, there was this 'clack, clack' sound that was persistent each time he got the engine going. Of course to me though, much as I tried to strain my ears, and believe you me, I tried to ...with all my blood, sweat and tears, to catch the faintest 'clack-clack' sound, I couldn't, really couldn't hear a thing! I dunno...maybe men connect better with their machines!

Anyways, hubba's had it and decided to strip the car to the core to search for the source. And guess what? He DID get the culprit after a whole Sunday afternoon of painstakingly pulling the car apart! (He did look inviting with all that sweat and grime though! But that's another thing altogether! Oh...family blog did you say? Sorry. Sorry.)

It was non other than Scott's marble aka Goli!! Scott has this habit of either bringing a book, his bag of marbles or a HOTWHEEL fave car of the day. He must've drop one of 'em marbles during one of our drives.

Now, the whole family's banned not only from food in the car but toys, hair accessories and even my make-up (ie lipsticks and compacts) were not spared ok!
