Uncle Peter's 60th.

Last Friday saw us celebrating hub's favourite (also mine) Uncle Peter's 60th. It was a start to this weekend's non-stop makan and drinking sessions. That aside, don't you think Uncle P looks damn handsome here? I think this dude can give Bruce Lee a run for his money anytime!!!

A picture of us feasting and drinking.

How cute is this birthday boy. Enjoying his cake in a corner!!

Birthday boy and his grandchildren strike a pose.

And the children of the birthday boy wanted to get involved as well. Jo was sitting in for her mom who is on confinement.

Here's another lovely one. Uncle P and his siblings. Poor Uncle William got squashed in the corner!

And here's yours truly with Z who was totally faking it! Babe, the word is Au Naturale okay? Remember that.

My uber cool in laws.

The next few are just a few of the many 'cam-whoring' pictures we took that evening!

Now this was what Uncle R got from A for poking fun at her! LOL

Everyone commented how these two little cutie pies resemble their mommies so much. Now why don't you be the judge of that?

Pictures via A's FB. Thanks a gazillion for capturing the moments.

Did someone mention London?

It's been exactly a year since we last visited London. Oh how I miss the lovely place, the shopping, British fashion, the crowded but easy-to-navigate around London underground, sight-seeing, the parks, the salads, the flea markets, Marks and Sparks etc....Did I mention shopping?

Picture taken at Covent Garden on a Sunday where street performances rule at almost every corner.

National Day Get Together

The girlfriends and their families swung by our new nest over National Day for some food, drinks and gossips. As most times when we get together, we were in stitches laughing, posing for pictures and commenting on those poses!!!

And at 8.22pm sharp, when the nation was strongly encouraged to stop whatever they were doing to take part in the first ever reciting of the National Pledge in unison, some of us dropped whatever we were doing and almost choked on ahem, fishball, whilst some others continued to bury their faces in steam at the dinner table where some serious steam boat makan was taking place! Hubs and me, on the other hand, were busy topping up food, running in and out of the kitchen and making sure everyone was feeling at home.

Hey! Can't blame us what. We were the hosts, afterall, right?
