Yes!!! You heard me right.

ASOS is one such site which I chanced upon sometime last year and I have got ALL the girls in the office hooked!

Anyway, with the mighty scorching hot weather in our little island, I’ve been taking advantage of the summer clearances online (particularly Old Navy and Victoria Secrets). I thought I'd give the swimwear section in my wardrobe a complete overhaul! And overhaul I did with 5 sets of uber rad bikinis in various design, colour and cuts! Hold onto your seats now coz...ALL 5 sets cost me just under S$50....IN TOTAL!!! I love it that all 5 can be mixed and matched according to my mood too!

Next up : On the lookout for caftans and beach-coverups!

With the weather being scorching hot these days, need I say more!

ps. If I had alot more space in our patio, I'd want a mini jacuzzi at the corner of the timber deck...where I can squeeze in sometime lounging and sunbathing on the deck and have tapas and drink sangria all day!

I'm in the market for some dress shoes for...Oh hell, I'm always in the market for some insanely tall, gorgeous heels that make a statement. Better still if they make heads turn! *winks*

Some time ago we were yadda-ing in the car when hubba said, "I don't know much about lady clothes but I'm all about the legs AND THE SHOES!"

the TANs and their MAC!

Last Sunday, my family went crazy at the Infinite MAC (and not MAC) Store in Millenia Walk. Hubba-Dubba-Do, Scott and Chloe headed straight for the gadgets that rocked their boat as you can see from the picture above!

As for me, well since I was too busy taking their pics with my iPhone, all I am lemming for right now is the uber cool iPhone docking station that'll play all my fave songs from iTunes in the mornings when I dress up and get ready for work ;)

Big Hint to Santa cause I've been a really good girl this year! Ahem.

Sneak Peak

I thought I'd declare a recent addition to my lemmings and lust list - canvas high tops. Aren't they just so edgy in a subtle kinda way? Yes, yes...I am back to my rock chick meets grunge (without the mess) period.

Love the tie-dye patterned one too! I can also imagine how Belle would go crazy with her collection of glitters, coming up with designs for the white pair!

Oh Brother!

For a mighty long time now, I've been toying with the idea of owning one of these...though I know for sure that my mum would not let me off the hook if I actually went out and bought one instead of giving her the honour to pass me her Electrolux sewing machine.

The simple basic and not so complicated range by Brother cost under $200. That's quite reasonable, if you ask me. As a loyal and regular customer of Aussie giant craft company SPOTLIGHT, I get 20% off. So really, it is a really fantastic deal.

Problem is that except for doing cross stitches, I am clueless when it comes to sewing. How I managed to pass dressmaking during Home Economics back then in school completely beats the hell outta me!

Each time I open a pattern book, I spend hours trying to figure what I should first. I get so frustrated and lose patience with myself that I shut the book completely and chuck it somewhere in my bookshelf......till the next wave of my wanting to be a la Diane von Furstenberg emerge again.

It's kinda really a shame. I have endless designs circling in my head ALL THE TIME! Not only clothes for myself but for my little Belle too. And believe you me when I say I know exactly the kind of fabric and colour I want with each design.

Oh well! Maybe I'll just wait in anticipation for the next season of Project Runway instead!

Oh for the love of Polaroids!

Don't you just love uber cool Polaroid? I, for one, absolute adore polaroids!! My first camera was a polaroid, a very chintzy one but i still have awesome pictures from my funky school days!! Because I am not loaded like that, I can't bring this little toy for a whirl everyday as compared to a digital camera. One thing's for sure though, it certainly sits high on my lemming list ;)
