Summertime Lusts : Bikinis!

Yes!!! You heard me right.

ASOS is one such site which I chanced upon sometime last year and I have got ALL the girls in the office hooked!

Anyway, with the mighty scorching hot weather in our little island, I’ve been taking advantage of the summer clearances online (particularly Old Navy and Victoria Secrets). I thought I'd give the swimwear section in my wardrobe a complete overhaul! And overhaul I did with 5 sets of uber rad bikinis in various design, colour and cuts! Hold onto your seats now coz...ALL 5 sets cost me just under S$50....IN TOTAL!!! I love it that all 5 can be mixed and matched according to my mood too!

Next up : On the lookout for caftans and beach-coverups!

I bought these gorgeous suede, leopard print, 3-inched platforms from ASOS some time early this year at a 50% off sale.

It was actually sheer coincidence that I happened to own several leopard print items. I wouldn't say I'm utterly crazy about the look, but I do like it...in moderation. Besides, you've gotta admit, there's something really sexy about having abit of animal printed key mix-and-match items in your wardrobe. Key word here is, I repeat MODERATION and not pile everything on at once.

The thing about leopard print is that you either love it or hate it. Digress - I know my hubs is shouting the latter. The prints remind him of a certain someone whom he is not too crazy about! Ha Ha! Anyways, I think it's a print that never goes out of fashion.

I think if you know how to rock a look, it's quite cool. And this season, if given a choice, I'd reach for a leopard print anything over a floral or polka-dotted anything!

Summertime Lusts : Skinny Dipping!

With the weather being scorching hot these days, need I say more!

ps. If I had alot more space in our patio, I'd want a mini jacuzzi at the corner of the timber deck...where I can squeeze in sometime lounging and sunbathing on the deck and have tapas and drink sangria all day!

Aren't they so beautiful yet uniquely quirky at the same time? LOVE IT.

I'm in the market for some dress shoes for...Oh hell, I'm always in the market for some insanely tall, gorgeous heels that make a statement. Better still if they make heads turn! *winks*

Some time ago we were yadda-ing in the car when hubba said, "I don't know much about lady clothes but I'm all about the legs AND THE SHOES!"

Hah! Now we know why right? This man has my heart.

There are a few things in this world that send me into a state of brain shut-down and indecisive paralysis.

One, is trying to choose between strawberry cheesecake or macadamia nut ice cream. My GOD, I drive those Haagen Dazs boys insane.

Two, is figuring out what to wear, after I changed my mind on what I had planned to wear in the first place, an hour before an event. (don't get me started on different accessories for each outfit!)

Yesterday, I swear I changed lippy colours about 7 times! And after each time, my poor lips got drier and drier. At one point, the corners of my lips started to peel abit! Thank GOD for Burt's Bees!

Argh, to be a woman!

Sneak Peak

I thought I'd declare a recent addition to my lemmings and lust list - canvas high tops. Aren't they just so edgy in a subtle kinda way? Yes, yes...I am back to my rock chick meets grunge (without the mess) period.

Love the tie-dye patterned one too! I can also imagine how Belle would go crazy with her collection of glitters, coming up with designs for the white pair!

Dinner Style : Off to Yum Seng!

A good friend of the hubs tied the knot with her long time beau last Friday.

Everything, including the dinner venue and food was Shanghai inspired so I was kinda excited as I had a qipao in the closet just waiting for the right occasion. Alas, dear hubs insisted I wear this cocktail dress which was bought sometime last year from one of my favourite labels Topshop which I've yet to put to good use as I had loss so much weight then that I couldn't hold the dress.

Neeways, I'm glad I listened to him. I felt so comfortable in my dress the whole evening. Cannot imagine going through a 10 course dinner in a figure hugging qipao!
